Tanner Hamill Bio

I come from an athletic family where almost everyone plays multiple sports with the most common being Hockey. I grew up A huge Mats Sundin fan and began my love of hockey through him and the Leafs. As I grew up I had the opportunity to play for many Rep teams in minor hockey including a few that won both Local and Provincial championships in multiple leagues associated with OMHA. I was also given many opportunities to wear captaincy letters throughout my minor hockey career! I began coaching last season with the U8 Shallow Lake Lakers which I took on to coach my younger brother. I plan to be a Child And Youth worker in the future and have interest in teaching and sharing my knowledge with others, my role with Harmony Hockey will allow me to combine my love of Hockey with my teaching and coaching interests!

Coaching Philosophy:

-Repetition of skill becomes muscle memory which makes you a better player.

-Like all things in life getting to the best version of yourself starts with baby steps.

-Goal setting makes for a successful journey in becoming better in your sport.
